Posted by Willmeister on September 27, 2013 at 5:40 PM Comments comments (0)

It was agreed at our recent EGM that the New Inn Harborne B.C and the WCWMC B.C are to become one club.  On one hand it is sad to see a lifes work of achievements dissappear, but on the other hand its a new and exciting era to help build the fantastic venue to what it once was. It will be a long project but a great one im sure.

After successfully arranging a face to face meeting with Marston's, the club can confirm that a donation has been agreed to enable the club to move forward. Although we do not wish to post the amount agreed on this site, we are truly grateful of the donation. A big thanks to all that were involved in the process and also thanks to all fellow bowlers and other members of the public for supporting us throughout.

The club would like to thank WCWMC for allowing us to use their facilities, we are truly grateful and with time and support from both clubs, get the venue upto scratch.

Many Thanks

The New Inns (WCWMC) B.C. are seeking new members of any ability to ensure the future growth of the club. Since the end of the 2012 season we have lost four members which means we desperately need replacements and more. Our home green for the 2013 season will be at the Weoley castle working mans club, Barnes Hill, Weoley castle which has a great surface.

For anybody that may be interested please contact us either through the "Contact" tab above or phone our club secretary George Smith on 07796323099.

Many Thanks
